インドよりCII(インド工業連盟）が来日し、名古屋における視察のコーディネートをさせていただきました。
CIIは、日本でいう経団連にあたる組織でインド全土で約1万社の会員企業が所属しています。その約65％が中堅中小企業で、日本への関心を高く持ってきます。今回は、トヨタ自動車のインドにおける合弁パートナーである財閥キルロスカグループの会長 Ms. Geetanjali Vikram Kirloskar氏が団長となり、15名が来日されました。
名古屋では、経済産業省の中部地域を管轄する中部経済産業局およびグレーター・ナゴヤ・イニシアティブ協議会が中心となって愛知・三重・岐阜の３県庁、中部経済連合会、あいち銀行などと一緒に意見交換を実施。
名古屋市役所では、広沢市長以下との合同面談が行われました。いずれも非常に活発で実りある議論となり、中部地域とインドの今後の具体的な施策へとつながっていきそうです。
午後にはトヨタ産業技術記念館の方へお連れし、館内を見学、トヨタさんからの丁寧なご説明がありました。
CIIとは以前より私たちIndoboxは非常に懇意にしており、インド訪問時にも面談を重ねていることから今回の来日にあたって我々の方へお声がけ頂いたことに感謝いたします。引き続き、日印の交流・発展に向けて取り組んでいきます。
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) visited Japan from India. The CII is an organisation equivalent to Keidanren in Japan, with approximately 10,000 member companies throughout India. About 65% of these are small and medium-sized enterprises, which have a high level of interest in Japan. This time, Ms. Geetanjali Vikram Kirloskar, Chairperson & Managing Director of the Kirloskar Group, a conglomerate and joint venture partner of Toyota Motor Corporation in India, led a delegation of 15 people to Japan.
During their stay in Nagoya, the Chubu Regional Bureau of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, along with the Greater Nagoya Initiative Center, led discussions with representatives from the prefectural governments of Aichi, Mie, and Gifu, the Chubu Economic Federation, and Aichi Bank. At Nagoya City Hall, a joint meeting was held with Mayor Hirosawa and other officials. All discussions were very active and fruitful, and are expected to lead to concrete measures for future collaboration between the Chubu region and India. In the afternoon, we took the delegation to the Toyota Industrial Museum, where they toured the facility and received a detailed explanation from a representative of Toyota.
We have had a very close relationship with CII since before, and we are grateful that they reached out to us for this visit to Japan, as we have had multiple meetings during our visits to India. We will continue to work towards the exchange and development between Japan and India.
